Outgoing mail server
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)
Select the outgoing mail server to be displayed/configured.

Default outgoing mail server
Unless otherwise specified for the relevant e-mail function, this outgoing mail server is used for sending e-mails.
*Note: The outgoing mail server first configured in the PBX is automatically switched on. To switch on another outgoing mail server, the currently switched on outgoing mail server must first be switched off.

Name
Freely selectable name. This name is used to identify the outgoing mail server within the PBX.

Address
Address of the outgoing mail server as IP address or URL (e.g. smtp.web.de). You can find the SMTP server address of your e-mail provider on the Internet, for example.

Port (1..65535)
You can find the SMTP port of your e-mail provider on the Internet, for example.
*Important: SSL without TLS is not supported for SMTP port 465.

User name
User name that was assigned when the e-mail account was set up. In the most cases, this is your e-mail address.

Password
Passwort that was assigned when the e-mail account was set up. It is used to verify the user name.

Sender
Email address that is used as the sender of the emails.
*Important: If you set up more than one outgoing mail server, the domains of the senders must match the addresses of the associated outgoing mail servers in order for emails to be sent (e.g. emailcomtrexx@web.de with smtp.web.de). Any e-mail address is only accepted if only one outgoing mail server has been set up.
