E-mail
The PBX supports the following e-mail functions:
Transfer of system e-mail
Sending registration information
Forwarding of voice mail and fax messages
The settings necessary for sending emails must be made centrally in the PBX and can then be freely assigned to the individual e-mail functions of the PBX.
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)
The PBX uses the Mail Transfer Agent (MTA) Postfix to send e-mails.
You must set up at least one outgoing mail server with an e-mail address as the sender. You can obtain the access data for this from your e-mail provider, for example.
The PBX supports up to four outgoing mail servers and therefore the option of assigning different senders to the various e-mail functions.
Layout and language
Properties relating to the appearance (e.g. format and logo) and language of the e-mail can be freely assigned to the individual e-mail functions, also separately for voice mail and fax boxes.
The PBX supports any number of logos (limited by the total memory).
Various language templates are available on factory delivery. The PBX supports additional user-defined language templates which can be generated on the basis of the existing language templates. This means that the language of the e-mails sent by the PBX can be set to suit the recipient. These language templates include different text elements (boilerplates) which are used to create the e-mails. The language templates are in *.xml format.
