Improper use may, for example, cause functional restrictions, destruction of the device or, in a worst case scenario, personal injury. Connecting Safely
Connect the device as described in these Instructions. Take note of the technical data on the type plate and in these Instructions. Only connect the device's connection cables to wall sockets that are designed for that purpose, have been properly installed, and are easily accessible. Arrange for a qualified electrician to install all the cables inside the building.
Ensure you comply with the relevant regulations when handling supply voltage and devices attached to the mains.
Location characteristics
Only operate the PBX in closed, dry rooms.
Never cover the device.
Limitations on Use
Never use a damaged device. If you need to replace a damaged device, disconnect the fuse on the power supply before touching that device. If a device is damaged, dispose of it.
Do not touch the device during an electrical storm.
The power supply is only suitable for devices as defined by its proper use. Never use the power supply on other devices. The power supply could damage these devices or start a fire.
Repair
Do not open the device. Only the manufacturer is permitted to open the device and repair it.
Cleaning
Any liquid that penetrates the casing can result in a life-threatening electric shock or can damage or destroy the telephone. Only clean the device with a dry cloth.
