Silent Alert
The Silent alarm function offers the possibility of unnoticed triggering an action at the remote station (e.g. alarm server) informed via URL in the event of a threat, an escalating conversation or a hostage-taking.
In addition, it is possible to start a “Silent alarm call” to any phone number. Preferably, the entered destination should be a configured InterCom destination. The connection will then be established immediately. Optionally, existing calls can be interrupted at the InterCom destination.
*Important: Please note any necessary activations and restrictions as well as time limits. An InterCom connection is limited to 2 or 5 minutes, depending on the type and version of the PBX.
*Consult the PBX manual for this.

*Important: Inform the users of the target telephones about the configured alarm function.

*Note: If a message is to be sent to a remote station only in the event of a health emergency, the SIP message function key can also be used for this purpose.

Process
1.A Silent alarm function key is pressed.
2.Depending on the predefined delay, a number of different scenarios are possible:
Delay 0 sec: The silent alarm starts immediately.
Delay min. 1 sec: A notification with a countdown timer appears on the display.
Swipe notification right or left
or
Dismiss: The silent alarm is cancelled.
Start immediately!: The silent alarm starts immediately.
Swipe the notification upwards: The notification is hidden. The silent alarm starts after the delay time has elapsed.
3.Depending on the URL and/or phone number entered, the following happens:
An action is triggered at the remote station informed via URL (e.g. alarm server).
The configured destination number is called. The phone in “Silent alarm call” mode behaves differently than in a “normal” call:
The call screen appears only briefly, then the display returns to the home screen.
The case LED remains off.
If the destination phone answers (automatically or manually), a short message is displayed.
The established connection only has one-way audio. This means that the destination phone can listen to what is happening in the room, while the phone in “Silent alarm call” mode remains silent.
The phone in “Silent alarm call” mode cannot be called.
End the connection on the phone in “Silent alarm call” mode: >
