When the amount of memory used exceeds the specified level, this information is logged and, if specified, sent as an e-mail. The settings made for the transfer of system e-mails will apply.

Automatic clean-up | Perform at xx % memory utilisation
When the amount of memory used reaches the specified level, the oldest message that is marked as read is deleted when a new message is received. Archived messages will not be deleted.

Storage medium | Format
The inserted storage medium (external SSD storage) is formatted and the directory tree required for the voice mail and fax function is created.
*Important: When the inserted data storage device is formatted, all the data currently present on it is deleted.
*Important: After the data storage device has been formatted with the EXT4 file system it can no longer be read on a Windows PC. For this reason, Windows prompts you to format the data storage device. Under no circumstances should you confirm this prompt by selecting "Yes".

Storage medium | selection list
The inserted storage medium (external SSD storage) is ejected. The PBX can be powered down and the data storage device securely removed.
*Important: Do not remove the USB data storage device from the PBX while the system is running. Switch off the PBX before removing the data storage device.

Automatic memory check | Interval
The data storage device is automatically checked for errors at the selected interval.

*Note: The memory check may take a few minutes. The voice mail and fax boxes cannot be accessed during the memory check. For this reason, the memory check should be performed at a time when access is not required (e.g. at night).
