Disabled DHCP client
IP address
IPv4 address in the range 0 - 255 (example: 192.168.0.240).
Subnet mask
IPv4 address of the subnet mask in the range 0 - 255 (example: 255.255.255.0).

Displays the specific and unique hardware address of the NET module or the network adapter.

IPv6 Mode
If IPv6 is switched on, an IP address complying with version 6 of the Internet protocol can be assigned. Thanks to the greater length of IPv6 addresses (eight blocks with four digits each, example: 3001:00FF:ABC0:0EAC:0001:0000:0000:000F), IPv6 offers a greater number of available IP addresses than version 4 of the Internet protocol (IPv4).

Assigns a user-defined IPv6 address.

Use DHCP server for NET module
Requirements:
If internal and external VoIP telephony are to be connected at the same network interface: Disabled Obtain IP address automatically (DHCP client) (page Administration > Network > IP Configuration > LAN2
When connecting SIP devices to the 2nd network interface, it is advisable to enable the DHCP server in order to supply the SIP devices with IP addresses and other information (NTP server address, gateway address etc.).
