Creating a Virtual Machine under VMware ESXi
1.Start the VMware ESXi and initiate the creation of a new VM.
−Enter login data
−Login
− Create/Register VM
2.Make the following settings.
−Select creation type : Deploy a virtual machine from an OVF or OVA file > Continue
−Select OVF and VMDK files: assign name, choose ova file or drag the ova file into the corresponding field > Continue
−Select storage: no changes required > Continue
−Deployment options: Power on automatically deactivate > Continue
−Ready to complete: Finish
Note: If a second network interface is to be used, a second network adapter must be set up for this purpose.

−Virtual Machines > select Virtual Machine > Switch on
A console opens.
At the end of the start-up process, the IP address via which the COMtrexx can be reached is displayed.
