Initial Setup
1.If necessary, make adjustments to the network settings.
Administration > Network
*Note: The IP address is transferred over when the COMtrexx is restarted.
2.Activate the function Auto provisioning.
Administration > Network > Server service > Auto provisioning active
*Note: When activating Auto-Provisioning, only this COMtrexx must be in the network.
3.Configure the location of the COMtrexx, the corresponding emergency numbers and other locations.
Exchange lines > Exchange line request/locations
Assign the location(s) to exchange lines and end devices afterwards.
*Caution: When telephones are being operated in several locations (e.g. used by several company offices, external staff or home offices), remember that emergency calls to these telephones can only be made if specific requirements have been met.
*Caution: Label the telephones that cannot be used for emergency calls. Inform all the users affected by this that they must use a different telephone that is available at that location to make emergency calls. For an emergency call via a smartphone, do not use a softphone installed on it, but normal mobile telephony.
4.Set up the exchange lines/phone numbers according to the existing provider.

5.Set up personalised users.
User > Phone numbers
6.Set up the call distribution and number presentation.

7.Switch on the phones.
Phones found in the network are displayed: Telephones > Assignment
8.Assign the users to the telephones. Set up additional telephones if necessary.
